La Marzocco created the Strada EP (Electronic Paddle) in response to a market trend, offering baristas complete control over the brewing process like never before. As the coffee industry shifted towards direct trade and relationship coffees, it became clear that there was a demand for a stable, dependable and flexible machine that could effectively showcase these high-quality coffees.
Utilizing pressure profiling on the Strada EP, the barista can enhance flavor components, resulting in a well-balanced and rounded espresso with a prominent brightness, sweetness, and delicate notes. This machine allows for the creation of a distinct espresso from a single origin coffee and the ability to replicate a unique flavor profile, often challenging to achieve with a constant 9 bars of pressure.
The Strada EP 1 group is equipped with a self-contained 2 liter water tank that makes plumbing optional.
